About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to work on exciting mechanical engineering projects involving design, analysis, and product development in a leading manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in designing mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA)
  • Perform engineering calculations for stress analysis, thermal analysis, and load calculations
  • Create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation as per industry standards
  • Support prototype development and testing activities in the workshop
  • Conduct design reviews and implement modifications based on feedback from manufacturing team
  • Coordinate with production team for smooth design-to-manufacturing transitions
  • Participate in root cause analysis for design-related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain engineering change documentation and revision control systems
  • Research new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes for product improvement
  • Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines

Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
  • 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design (freshers with strong academic record welcome)
  • Proficiency in CAD software – AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA (certification preferred)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals – mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes – machining, casting, forging, sheet metal fabrication
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
