Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment in Pune. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines, conventional machines, and production equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system faults
• Carry out breakdown repairs to minimize production downtime
• Maintain and repair material handling equipment – cranes, hoists, conveyors, forklifts
• Read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and machine manuals for troubleshooting
• Replace worn parts – bearings, seals, belts, couplings, and motors
• Perform alignment, leveling, and calibration of machinery
• Maintain spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions for critical spares
• Document maintenance activities, update equipment history records, and maintain logs
• Follow safety procedures, lockout-tagout protocols, and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 3-6 years of experience in industrial maintenance in manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with CNC machines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and VFDs (basic level)
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Experience with welding (arc/gas) and fabrication work
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and execution
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns
