Store Inventory Executive

About the Role

We are hiring a Store/Inventory Executive to manage our spare parts and materials inventory at our manufacturing facility in Pune. You will be responsible for maintaining stock records, ensuring timely availability of materials, and optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, spare parts, and consumables
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP system (SAP/Tally/Oracle)
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual physical verification
• Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions for reorder items
• Coordinate with purchase department for timely procurement of materials
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials as per standards
• Manage FIFO (First In First Out) and material traceability requirements
• Handle documentation – GRN, issue slips, material transfer notes, returns
• Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory, recommend disposal actions
• Maintain 5S standards in stores area and ensure safety compliance

Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce/Science or Diploma in Materials Management
• 2-4 years of experience in stores/inventory management in manufacturing
• Proficiency in ERP systems – SAP MM, Tally, or similar inventory software
• Good knowledge of inventory control techniques and MRP concepts
• Familiarity with engineering materials, spare parts, and consumables
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Computer proficiency – MS Excel (advanced), MS Office
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Knowledge of GST, excise, and material documentation
