About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media initiatives and drive brand growth across digital platforms. In this strategic role, you will develop comprehensive social media strategies, manage a team of social media executives, handle client relationships, and deliver measurable results through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives and brand goals for multiple clients or brands
- Team Coordination: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media executives, content creators, and designers to ensure timely delivery of quality content
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, presenting strategies, and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Performance Reporting: Develop detailed performance reports with actionable insights, present analytics to clients and stakeholders, and continuously optimize strategies based on data
- Content Strategy: Oversee content planning, editorial calendars, and ensure content quality across all managed social media accounts
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotional activities to drive engagement and conversions
- Community Management: Develop community management guidelines and oversee engagement activities across platforms
- Paid Social Oversight: Collaborate with paid media teams to align organic and paid social strategies for maximum impact
- Crisis Management: Handle social media crises professionally and develop response protocols
- Industry Trends: Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to keep strategies current
Requirements
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in social media management with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in growing social media presence, engagement rates, and achieving campaign objectives
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring team members
- Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Analytics Proficiency: Strong command of social media analytics tools including Meta Business Suite, native analytics, and third-party tools
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies while managing day-to-day operations
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and team coordination
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Problem Solving: Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities for handling unexpected situations
Good to Have
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer
- Understanding of paid social advertising and campaign management
- Agency experience handling multiple client accounts
- Certification in social media marketing
- Experience with influencer marketing campaigns
