About the Role
We are seeking a strategic Content Marketing Specialist to drive our content initiatives and deliver measurable business results through compelling content. In this role, you will develop content strategies, manage editorial calendars, oversee content distribution, and analyze performance to continuously optimize our content marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy: Develop comprehensive content marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, target audience needs, and buyer journey stages
- Editorial Calendar Management: Plan, create, and manage editorial calendars for blogs, social media, email marketing, and other content channels ensuring consistent publishing schedules
- Content Distribution: Strategize and execute multi-channel content distribution plans to maximize reach and engagement across owned, earned, and paid media
- Performance Analysis: Track, measure, and analyze content performance using analytics tools, generate insights, and optimize strategies based on data
- Content Creation Oversight: Guide content creation ensuring quality, brand voice consistency, and SEO optimization across all content pieces
- SEO Integration: Collaborate with SEO team to ensure content is optimized for search engines and aligned with keyword strategies
- Lead Generation: Create content that drives lead generation including whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, and gated content
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with sales, product, and marketing teams to identify content needs and opportunities
- Content Audits: Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, update outdated content, and improve content library
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with content marketing trends, best practices, and emerging content formats
Requirements
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or related digital marketing roles
- Content Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization techniques
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously
- Writing Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with ability to maintain brand voice across different content types
- Analytics: Proficiency in Google Analytics, content analytics tools, and data interpretation
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with content management systems, project management tools, and marketing automation platforms
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into content plans
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in content quality and brand consistency
Good to Have
- Experience with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, or Mailchimp
- Background in B2B content marketing
