SEO Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to drive organic growth through strategic search engine optimization initiatives. In this role, you will develop and execute SEO strategies, conduct technical audits, optimize content for search visibility, and analyze competitive landscapes to ensure our clients achieve top rankings and sustainable organic traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy Development: Create comprehensive SEO strategies encompassing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO tailored to business objectives and industry requirements
• Technical SEO: Conduct technical SEO audits, identify issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexation, page speed, mobile optimization, and implement fixes
• Content Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking structures for improved search visibility and user experience
• Keyword Research: Perform in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities and inform content strategy
• Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify gaps, opportunities, and develop strategies to outrank competitors
• Link Building: Develop and execute ethical link building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings
• Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics including rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and ROI
• Algorithm Updates: Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly
• Collaboration: Work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital assets
• Client Communication: Present SEO strategies, reports, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SEO with demonstrated success in improving organic rankings and traffic
• Advanced SEO Knowledge: Deep understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local SEO principles
• Tools Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other industry tools
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Technical Understanding: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of JavaScript as it relates to SEO
• Content SEO: Experience in content optimization, semantic SEO, and content gap analysis
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and resolving SEO issues
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple SEO projects and priorities effectively
• Continuous Learning: Passion for staying updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices

Good to Have

• Experience with enterprise-level SEO and large-scale websites
• Knowledge of structured data and schema markup implementation
• Experience with international SEO and multi-language websites
• Understanding of CRO and how it relates to SEO
• Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications
