Job Description

About the Role

We are hiring a Warehouse Executive for our Pune facility. This is an entry-level role open to freshers and to candidates with up to one year of experience. You will handle the day-to-day movement of stock: receiving inbound shipments, checking them against paperwork, putting goods away in the right locations, and picking and packing outbound orders. Everything is recorded in the warehouse management system as it happens, so the role suits somebody methodical who would rather stop and check a discrepancy than let it through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and delivery challans, and flag discrepancies before goods are accepted
  • Put stock away in the correct locations and keep bin and rack labelling accurate
  • Pick, pack and stage outbound orders against pick lists, checking item codes and quantities before dispatch
  • Record every stock movement in the warehouse management system on the same shift it happens
  • Prepare dispatch documentation including invoices, e-way bills and delivery challans
  • Take part in daily cycle counts and periodic physical stock verification
  • Keep aisles, racks and staging areas clean, clear and compliant with safety rules
  • Operate hand pallet trucks and material handling equipment you are trained and certified for
  • Report damaged, short-shipped or expired stock through the correct process rather than setting it aside
  • Support returns processing, including inspection and restocking of returned goods
  • Follow standard operating procedures for handling, storage and dispatch without shortcuts
  • Escalate stock shortages, system errors and safety hazards to the supervisor promptly

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or a diploma in logistics, supply chain or materials management
  • Fresher to 1 year of experience — no prior warehouse experience required, training is provided
  • Basic computer skills including data entry, and working knowledge of Excel
  • Willingness to learn a warehouse management system such as SAP, Oracle or Zoho Inventory
  • Comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods and lifting within safe limits
  • Accuracy with numbers and attention to detail when counting and recording stock
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures in English, and communicate in Hindi or Marathi with the floor team
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including occasional weekends during peak periods
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety, or readiness to complete safety training on joining

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary benchmarked to warehouse and supply chain rates in Pune
  • Clear progression from executive to supervisor to assistant manager, with the criteria written down
  • Training on warehouse management systems and safety certification paid for
  • Provident fund, gratuity and health insurance for you and your immediate family
  • Overtime paid at statutory rates, and shift allowances where shifts apply
  • Canteen and transport support for shifts outside normal hours
