Frontend Developer

About the Role

We are hiring a Frontend Developer with two to three years of experience for our Pune engineering team. You will work across client projects built in React and Angular, taking features from specification to production. We are looking for strong JavaScript fundamentals rather than expertise in one particular framework — our projects use both, and the ability to move between them matters more than years spent in either.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end features across client applications built in React or Angular
• Implement responsive, accessible interfaces from design specifications
• Integrate with backend services over REST and GraphQL, including authentication flows
• Write and maintain automated tests at unit and component level
• Optimise front-end performance, including load time, runtime behaviour, and Core Web Vitals
• Refactor legacy front-end code incrementally without stopping feature delivery
• Diagnose and fix cross-browser and cross-device rendering issues
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
• Review teammates code and contribute to shared coding standards
• Work with designers to resolve gaps and ambiguities in specifications before build
• Maintain build and deployment configuration for front-end applications
• Document component APIs and non-obvious implementation decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-3 years of professional front-end development experience
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+ fundamentals independent of any framework
• Production experience with at least one of React or Angular, and willingness to work in the other
• Experience integrating front ends with backend APIs
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser compatibility
• Familiarity with modern build tooling and package management
• Experience with Git in a collaborative branching workflow
• Testing experience with a modern JavaScript testing framework
• Ability to estimate work and communicate slippage early rather than at the deadline
