Mobile App Developer (React Native / Flutter)

About the Role

We are seeking a Mobile App Developer with two to three years of experience to build cross-platform applications for our clients from our Pune office. You will work in React Native, Flutter, or both, taking apps from development through to store release. This is our first dedicated mobile opening, so you will have real influence over how we build and ship mobile work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter
• Implement responsive mobile interfaces that respect platform conventions on both iOS and Android
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, including offline handling and local persistence
• Implement native device features such as camera, geolocation, notifications, and biometrics
• Manage application state using patterns appropriate to the framework in use
• Prepare and manage releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play, including store metadata and review responses
• Diagnose and fix platform-specific defects, including those that only appear on one OS version
• Profile and optimise app performance, startup time, and bundle size
• Write automated tests for business logic and critical user flows
• Implement crash reporting and analytics, and act on what they show
• Keep up with platform SDK changes and plan upgrades before they become forced
• Work with designers on mobile-specific interaction patterns

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-3 years of professional mobile development experience
• Production experience with React Native or Flutter, with at least one app publicly released
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, or Dart, depending on your framework
• Experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and handling poor connectivity
• Practical knowledge of the App Store and Google Play release processes
• Understanding of mobile-specific concerns including battery, permissions, and background execution
• Experience debugging on real devices, not only simulators
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Some exposure to native Android or iOS development is an advantage
