About the RoleWe’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can craft, drive, and grow ShopOS’s digital presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, and more. You’ll be the voice of our brand online—curating stories, sparking conversations, and building a community of AI, tech, and eCommerce enthusiasts. You’ll work closely with the founders, product marketing, design, and content teams to turn the work we’re doing into stories worth sharing—and ensure those stories reach the right people at the right time.
What You’ll OwnOwn and manage the end-to-end social media strategy across channels (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)Plan, write, and schedule engaging content that builds brand, educates users, and drives growthCraft content across formats— posts, threads, memes, carousels, reels, short videos, and live sessionsCollaborate with product, design, and content teams to turn complex ideas into shareable storiesTrack performance, measure engagement, and optimize based on insights and analyticsBuild and engage with a community of followers— respond to comments, DMs, and join relevant conversationsStay on top of trends in tech, eCommerce, AI, and digital media—and shape our voice accordinglyWork on high-visibility campaigns for product launches, events, partnerships, and hiringBuild a distinct voice and personality for ShopOS on every platform
What We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience in social media or content marketing rolesStrong written communication skills with a knack for crisp, witty, insightful copyPortfolio or profile showcasing social accounts you’ve managed or grownFamiliarity with the tone and pace of platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTubeUnderstanding of performance metrics (engagement rates, impressions, growth) and tools (Later, Buffer, Notion, Figma, Canva, etc.)Proficiency in working cross-functionally with marketing, design, and product teamsExcellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple campaigns at onceCreativity and hustle—comfortable experimenting with new formats and memes
Bonus PointsExperience building a B2B or SaaS brand on social mediaFamiliarity with AI, commerce, startups, or emerging tech narrativesPersonal following or viral posts in your own networkExperience with influencer marketing or UGCPrior exposure to startup culture and 0→1 storytelling
