Consultant SAP Tax and Revenue Management

Role : TRM Consultant

Location : India ( Offshore)

The TRM Consultant role is a combination of functional solutioning, client-facing, and team leader responsibilities. Their role involves frequent communication with clients and their project team members with a focus on SAP Tax & Revenue Management solutions. The Senior Consultant guides his team to meet the customer requirements while considering functional and technical specifics for a solution deployment in an existing SAP S/4 HANA system environment. The role also requires working as an individual contributor to the customer project to add value based on his functional domain expertise in taxation and accounting. With this role, strong communication skills are required to convey and consult business processes pertaining to tax declarations of business taxes like Corporate Taxes but also to interact with project team members by understanding underlying problems and the solution approach in SAP. In addition, the consultation requires the setup of demos, mock-ups or proof of concepts to support the understanding and visualization of the business flow and to secure the success of the overall solution deployment incl. roll-out.

Responsibilities::

Undertakes functional solution responsibilities considering SAP TRM / PSCDUnderstands the business processes and business challenges by applying SAP standard processes wherever possibleProvides support to project manager(s) in sharing the various tasks of their solution to conclude on the project planning, deliverable specification, and effort estimationsResponsible for client interaction and management during all workshops, meetings, and informal contactsLeading or supporting workshops while ensuring all requirements are captured and compared to planned scope of work and previously specified deliverablesClearly articulates the requirements and identifies the gaps by agreeing with the customer including potential additional scopeSupports project managers in bringing the clarity on additional scope and effort estimationsConducts or supports meetings, provides regular updates to customer / project team membersEnsures that all risks and mitigation processes within their solution are identified and documentedSupports and prepares all project deliverables and actively participates in the complete project life cycle documentation from their solution perspectivePeriodically monitors and supports the progress of the activities within his solution scope and ensures to take timely actions to avoid delaysSupports or leads demo or proof of concept (PoC) preparations and conducts business process demonstrations to our clientsUndertakes or supports the required resource interviews for team identification & deploymentRecommends business process improvements where applicableProvides solution and effort estimations for change requestsOverall functional accountability for his solution delivery in his project without any escalations by customers, project managers, project team members or any other stakeholderEnsures that the smooth success of the project is the highest priorityProvides support to the Management and contributes to the business success by sharing all relevant information in a professional mannerEnsures that the ethics and the culture code of InvenioLSI are kept intact during the engagement with all internal and external stakeholdersParticipates in peer reviews of other projects and shares the feedback to the Practice Lead / Practice Head concerning problems, concerns or any shortcomingsFollow-up with the respective project team members and ensures that the feedback / observations / recommendations are incorporated and monitoredActively participates in all TRM practice activitiesSupports Practice Lead / Practice Head on the strategy activities / road map definitionProactively informs of project delays and seeks mitigationProactively seeks additional support within the practice on knowledge gapsParticipates in the various recruitment drives and actively conducts interviews to identify resources with adequate skill sets and practice knowledgeBeing a role model, mentor, and guide for the consultants in his teamDesign and develop new TRM solutions to widen our product catalogueCoach and mentor team members

Qualifications And Experience

3 to 6 years of experience with TRM project implementationsExpert level knowledge concerning SAP TRM and PSCDExcellent understanding of Tax Authority business processes and legislationFollows industry trends and focuses to become a thought leader in his area of expertiseExposure to new technologies in the SAP space for functional considerationsExposed to multiple Implementation methodologies like ASAP, Activate, Waterfall, Scrum etc.Able to communicate with customer confidently, convince / coach clients on the most appropriate solution and agree on an effective way forwardExcellent communication skills in all areas (oral, aural, written)Strong coaching and leadership skills with interest in consultants in their area of expertiseStrong presentation skills at all levels of engagement with the customerLeadership and management of assigned team members
